Bedfordshire County Clout

The BCAA Committee are seeking your help.

Are you interested in shooting clouts, and would you be prepared to organise next year’s County Clout? Bedfordshire has a long record of running a clout championship meeting and hosting the SCAS Clout as part of the proceedings. 2024’s BCAA/SCAS Clout sadly had to be cancelled for a number of reasons, but we hope to resurrect the shoot for 2025.

Griffin 2nd Annual Shoot Entry Form 2024-updated

In Memory of Roger Horley

It is with the greatest sadness that we have to announce that Roger Horley passed away at Moggerhanger Hospice on Monday 25th March.

Roger gave so much of his time and himself not just to Kestrels but also to archery within the County and SCAS.

As well as our Treasurer for over 30 years he gave countless hours to all the myriad of things that made the club as successful as it was for all its members and all the archers who shoot at our competitions.

Without any doubt the club is in the great position it is today because of Roger.

He was our fellow archer, coach, mentor and friend.

We miss you Roger and our thoughts are with you, your wife Tina and your family.

2024 SCAS Clout Championships Cancelled

Good afternoon,

Unfortunately this competition has proved a little challenging to organise this year, with it all feeling rather precarious. With this in mind and less than two weeks to go I’ve had to make the decision to cancel the competition as quite frankly I was not happy it was going to run as smoothly as I would be happy with.

We will be back next year, and those who have entered should have been contacted at the email address they provided

Woodside Worcester March 2024 – results

Greetings !
Here are the preliminary results. Please check this agrees with what you sent me.
So, five of our eight clubs participated with 57 archers involved.
The juniors and seniors are lumped together as the juniors can hold their own against allcomers. Well done!
If you are the highest scorer in your discipline and age group you may wish to contact Martin Gascoigne, the County Records Officer, and claim a postal county record.
Thanks to you and your clubmates for taking part in this year’s event.
Looking forward to the outdoor season and other county-wide events.
