To ALL Bedfordshire County archers.
Following the success and positive comments from our last 3 outings, we will holding another informal get together for new and old (in terms of archery membership) county archers.
You are invited to join us for another Open morning on Saturday the 3rd of September. This will be the last of the outdoor meetings this year. We are hoping to see all those who have attended any of the three previous get togethers this summer.
This would be a good practice for the Beds County Champs being held the following weekend at Kestrels in Biggleswade.
We will be shooting a short, age appropriate round under the direction of Brian Dunlop.
To make it more interesting there`ll be medals up for grabs so it’s a proper competition even if it is only going to be short distances.
Therefore we’re going to need to know who’ll be shooting, what bow style and whether they’re novice…. shooting less than 1 year or intermediate….. shooting more than 1 year but less than 2 or shooting 2 years or more and whether they’re senior or junior oh and I suppose gender. Please let your county team rep know.
For those of you who haven’t experienced shooting a competition this is for you, and for those of you who are experienced we’re hoping you’ll be willing and able to help any newcomers. If you have anything specific you would like to work on or want help with this is an ideal opportunity, in particular for the parents of juniors to perhaps unravel some of the mysteries.

Time: 9.30am arrival for 10am assembly….. planning to finish by 12.30.
